BUILDING THE MOSŤÁČEK.CZ STATIONARY

THE EVENT TOOK PLACE APRIL 17–19, 2026

Our April visit to the Mosťáček organization in Most, which supports people with autism and families facing difficult life situations, was not only useful but also inspiring. On Friday evening, we learned about how the relatively new day care center operates and the tasks that awaited us over the weekend.
On Saturday morning, we set to work hanging wallpaper in the clients’ rooms. Each room had its own theme—such as space, the forest, or the sea—and was designed to provide clients with a pleasant place to relax. In the evening, the rain drove us away from our planned walk to the local pub, but we still treated ourselves to a well-deserved rest after work.
We didn’t sit idle on Sunday either; we finished hanging the last of the wallpaper, assembled and installed curtain rods for the rooms, and even managed a short walk to Lake Most. The weather wasn’t very kind to us that day, but that didn’t spoil the good feeling we had about the event and the help we provided.

MOSŤÁČEK.CZ is an organization that builds support networks for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families in the Most region. Since September 2025, it has been operating a day care center for people with ASD aged 15 to 45, offering an individual approach, development of social and sensorimotor skills, and necessary relief for loved ones.

The organization creates a space where clients feel safe and welcome. In addition to the day care center, it also provides professional counseling, support for foster families, assistance to victims of domestic violence, and activities for foreigners. Its goal is to build a community that listens, connects, and respects the different needs of each individual.
