DO YOU NEED HEROES FOR THE WEEKEND?

Are you a non-profit facing manual-work challenges and looking for a helping hand? HERO CLAN is here just for you! We organize weekend volunteer events that will give your organization energetic support for tasks you would otherwise not have time for, allowing you to fully focus on your main goals. Our volunteers can help with a wide range of activities - from painting walls, building fences, cleaning premises, repairs to gardening and other manual tasks.

We will save you time, energy and money so that you can devote yourself fully to your main activities.

HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

Together, we carefully plan the weekend down to the smallest detail to make it as efficient and beneficial as possible for everyone involved. As soon as we have complete information from you, we publish the event on our website and look for volunteers. In the meantime, we communicate together regularly.

WHAT WILL BE NEEDED FROM YOU?

Want to bring the heroes together for the weekend? To do this, make sure you have the following ready:

• Securing space for accommodation for the volunteers is essential. Volunteers will bring their own sleeping bag and mat, but warmth, space for hygiene and a roof over their heads should be provided.
• Catering throughout the event. Catering can be organized by your non-profit organization or in cooperation with another organization, or volunteers can cook for themselves from the ingredients provided by you.
• Enough work and all the necessary work tools, protective equipment and a first aid kit. It is also important to think of a plan B in case of bad weather.
• When the volunteers arrive, it is important to introduce the volunteers to your organization, its goals and the purpose of the prepared work. You will be the main contact for them, give them work tasks,...

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WEEKEND LOOK LIKE?

We will agree on the number of volunteers in advance according to your capacities and needs. This is usually a group of 6-15 volunteers with different levels of experience and skills.

Volunteers will come to you on Friday evening. Since they mostly don't know each other, they get to know each other and your organization on Friday night. They work on Saturday and finish work on Sunday. The weekend with you is also about getting to know your organization and activities up close, so it is good to prepare an accompanying program for the volunteers.
