TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

WHO ARE THE WEEKEND MISSIONS FOR?

  • We welcome all brave volunteers aged 15+.

  • Younger heroes (ages 15-17) need parental consent.
  • For family events, we also welcome young heroes ages 3 and up!

WHAT IS PROVIDED

  • Meals during the event based on the capabilities of the specific organization. Friday night dinner is usually not provided.
  • Simple accommodation according to the possibilities of the specific organization on beds, mattresses or on your own mattresses in a sleeping bag. 
  • Accident and liability insurance. 
  • A trained leader who will be on site to ensure a smooth running and be your main point of contact.
  • Working between 4 - 8 hours per day including ample time for rest and leisure activities such as a walk around the area, campfire or other group activities. 
  • The non-profit organization introduction and learning about its activities and the issues it deals with.
  • The exact details are always described for the specific event.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO AS A VOLUNTEER?

  • Before going to the event, it is the responsibility of each participant to familiarize themselves with the schedule of the event, the planned work tasks and the necessary equipment, including practical information, which can be found on the event website and the information email that you will receive about a week before the event.
  • To register for the event, you will need to fill in the online registration form so that we can count on you and also arrange you the insurance.
  • To ensure that your place is not offered to other applicants and that your registration is binding, you must pay the participation fee within the 5 working days after sending your application.
