PROTECTION OF THE ROZTOKY NATURE
Do you want to contribute to the protection and restoration of nature? Jestřábník - association for nature and landscape protection invites all nature enthusiasts to an event where we will take care of the Roztock landscape together. Spend the whole Saturday in the fresh air, recharge your batteries and enjoy the smell of grass and wood. Let's join forces and help keep our nature beautiful and healthy!
This event is perfect for anyone who wants to give volunteering a try or can't make it out for the whole weekend.
WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO
You can look forward to a variety of activities such as clearing the grounds of dead trees, tending to the historic orchards and planting new trees. We will focus on restoring biologically valuable meadows, steppes and heathland. We will specify specific work as the event gets closer, but you can expect a variety of physically demanding activities so you can choose the work to suit your abilities and taste.
You don't need any previous experience or skills to get involved - this event is open to anyone who is keen to put their hand to work!
ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME
The volunteering event is not just about work! You will learn more about the activities of the Hawkman Association and its conservation approach. In the evening, we will roast something good together over the fire and share experiences from the volunteer day or from life.

Jestřábník - spolek pro ochranu přírody a krajiny
The Jestřábník association focuses on nature and landscape conservation. It promotes traditional agricultural activities to restore the diversity and health of the landscape, and cares for steppes, meadows and historic paths. It organizes educational programs for all age groups and operates a sheep farm. Advocates for public involvement in conservation through volunteer events. The society was founded in 2016 with the aim of restoring the diversity of the Czech landscape.
WHAT YOU ARE GUARANTEED AS A VOLUNTEER
- accommodation according to the duration of the event,
- food,
- special health and liability insurance,
- event organisation and a leader to take care of the group on site,
- new contacts, interesting life experiences and priceless experiences.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
MEETING POINT
We will meet at the venue on Saturday morning, September 21. We will specify the time just before the event.
FOOD
Food will be provided throughout the event. Any dietary restrictions will be addressed with you by the leader prior to the event.
WHAT TO BRING
- Weather appropriate work clothes (such that you can get dirty),
- work gloves,
- warm, ideally waterproof work boots,
- a drinking bottle.
RETURN
We will leave for home in the afternoon. We will specify the end time before the event.
