ORGANISATION OF THE FESTIVAL IN KRKONOŠE

Leave the city behind and come with us to the Giant Mountains for a weekend! Take part in the realization of the DOTEKY festival, organized by the SEVER ecological centre. Explore the former Baroque parsonage, which has become a centre of tradition, culture and ecology.
The DOTEKY festival is aimed at families with children and offers a rich programme of music, theatre and creative workshops. The whole event is interwoven with the theme of ecology and sustainability.

WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO

On Saturday, we will be helping with the preparation of the event and its actual organization. For example, you can get involved in selling refreshments, helping out with creative workshops for children or various stations and finally we will clean up the area together. On Sunday, we will do some gardening.

You don't need any previous experience or skills to get involved - this event is open to anyone who is keen to put their hand to work!

ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME

In addition to the Krkonoše festival experience, you can enjoy exploring the DOTEK house - a former Baroque rectory that has become a centre of tradition, culture and ecology. You will definitely recharge your energy in the beautiful natural garden full of herbs and learn interesting information about the activities of the SEVER organisation.

The SEVER Centre of Environmental Education aims to deepen responsible behaviour towards nature and promotes sustainable living through educational programmes and events. It offers programmes for schools, teaching staff, teacher students, public administration employees and the general public. Activities include educational programs, workshops, consultations and support in decision-making processes.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

ACCOMMODATION

We will be accommodated in the building of the organization, where we will have two rooms with shared bathroom, kitchen and common room. We will sleep in beds in our own sleeping bags.

MEETING POINT

We will meet on Friday evening, June 7, at the venue or at the Horní Maršov bus stop. We will specify the time just before the event.

FOOD

Food will be provided throughout the event, except for Friday dinner, which we will bring our own. Any dietary restrictions will be discussed with you by the leader before the event.
